THE TRADITIONAL CAMBODIAN WAY TO SAY HELLO AND GOOD-BYE

WHERE YOU SHOULD GO AT WEEKEND?

“Kean-Sway” is the nearest resort from Phnom Penh where we can visit at weekend. It’s a popular place among Cambodian in the purpose of “Countryside foods shopping”. Visiting there you can buy a lot of different kinds of fresh fruits and vegetable and enjoy with the natural views.

MY FAVOURITE FOODS I WOULD RECOMMEND TO YOU

My suggestion while you are studying in Cambodia you should try some delicious foods that are popular and available in Phnom Penh such as:

1. Num Ban Cok
2. Somlor -Kako
3. A-Mok
4. Kuyteav-Kat

1. Num Ban Cok:  it is Khmer traditional noodle  which prepares Khmer noodle called “Nom Ban Cok” with many kind of vegetables and yellow soup .

*It’s completely different from “Curry”.

2. Somlor-Kako :   a Khmer soup served with rice. It prepares with  fish or chicken (you can choose) and a lot of vegetable like papaya, pumpkin, eggplant. . . .

3. A-Mok:   a very delicious dish that everybody recognizes. It’s made with fish or chicken with coconut milk and lemongrass paste.

4. Kuyteav-Kat:   my favorite snack in Phnom Penh.
